This setup delivers the exact rebound, physical tension, and mechanical response of an acoustic kick drum. The wide surface of the KP65 pad also accommodates double-bass pedals, giving growing drummers a natural platform to develop proper foot technique.

Driven by the DTX402 module, the kit offers 415 high-definition drum, percussion, and keyboard voices sampled directly from Yamaha’s legendary acoustic kits. It features 10 fully editable preset drum kits spanning rock, pop, jazz, metal, and electronic genres. For practice, the module includes 10 interactive training modes—such as Rhythm Gate, which silences notes played off-beat, and Fast Blast, which measures stroke speed—to help drummers improve timing, technique, and stamina.

Seamless App Integration & Connectivity

Unlocking the full potential of the DTX432K is easy with smart app integration. Connecting the module to a smartphone or tablet via USB allows full parameter editing using the DTX402 Touch app. Players can also utilize the Rec’n’Share app to play along with audio tracks from their library, record high-quality digital audio and video directly to their device, and share performances online without additional recording gear.
