1. **Fill Water Tank**: Open the water reservoir and fill it with clean water up to the indicated maximum level. Securely close the reservoir lid to prevent leaks.
2. **Power On**: Plug the garment steamer into a power outlet and turn it on using the power switch. Allow it to heat up for the recommended time, usually a few minutes, until steam starts to emit.
3. **Prepare Garments**: Hang the garment on a hanger or place it on a flat surface. Hold the steamer’s nozzle a few inches away from the fabric to avoid direct contact.
4. **Steam Fabric**: Move the steamer slowly across the garment in a vertical motion, applying steam to remove wrinkles and freshen the fabric. Use short bursts of steam for stubborn creases.
5. **Turn Off and Clean**: After steaming, turn off the steamer and unplug it. Allow it to cool down, then empty any remaining water from the tank. Wipe the steamer’s exterior with a damp cloth and store it in a dry place.
